Insight into our factory - From raw material to finished yarn, with quality and accuracy at the center.

Get an insight into our factory

We work with a love of craftsmanship and with carefully selected raw materials from nature - linen, cotton, nialin and wool.

Flax is particularly close to our hearts. It was the blue flax fields that once brought farmers Lars and Axel Leman together - the start of our history.

Linen is not only beautiful, but also an environmentally friendly choice.
It is biodegradable and requires significantly less water and pesticides than many other crops. We focus on the environment throughout our production.

Everything happens under one roof - from coloring to finished product, ready to find its way to your home

‍‍Inour dye house, we use carefully measured color pigments and gentle agents that are as environmentally friendly as possible.
The water we use for dyeing is taken directly from the lake outside the factory.
After use, it is purified in our own wastewater treatment plant - and when it is discharged again, it is cleaner than when we took it in.

Our yarns are made from 100% natural materials, which means that variations naturally occur between different batches. Factors such as weather, wind and harvest affect the raw material, and in turn how the yarn absorbs the color.
This requires both experience and sensitivity from our skilled employees in the dye house - something we are very proud of.

‍Fromthread to durable yarn - how it works in our weaving mill

Inour spinning mill, fine threads are transformed into strong and durable yarns. Here we twist several threads together into one - a process that requires both precision and a feel for the material.

Twisting makes the yarn stronger, smoother and more durable. By adjusting how tightly the threads are twisted together, we can influence the character of the yarn - whether it should be soft and pliable, or more robust and form-fitting.
There is craftsmanship in every turn, where machines and human skills work together to create yarn with both soul and strength.

The final step - before your creativity takes over

From the twisting process, the yarn is passed on to the last part of our factory before it reaches the shelves in the warehouse.

Here, the yarn is carefully rewound on cardboard sleeves into beautiful, even rolls of the right weight and dimensions.
As a final step, they are packed, four by four, carefully and stylishly - ready to meet new hands and new projects.
